If you see something like this, DO NOT CALL AN EXTERMINATOR!
Call a beekeeper, they can relocate the hive instead of killing them. Bees are dying at an alarming rate, please do not contribute to that! They are so important for our ecosystem!
yo fuck this i aint gonna call no beekeeper i’m moving before i’m dead
I’m going to call an exterminator so the exterminator can kill them. I’ll be able to sleep at night knowing that there are less bees in the world.
No bees = no food.
No food = no life.
Congratulations on destroying the world.
Because you seem to not understand that bees pollinate flowers and literally bees are the reason we have food.
Did you guys even watch bee movie
you really really must call a bee keeper!
My family’s house had it’s entire attic taken over by bees one year. They slowly started appearing in the house, and then they were everywhere. We called a bee keeper, and he removed what he said was the largest domestic honeycomb/bee nest he’d ever seen. I was so terrified I’d gone to stay with a friend. My folks called me to meet the bee keeper, and he led me on the most magical journey through the house. He explained the bees were harmless if you move calmly through them and don’t swat at or harass them. He was only stung once because he accidentally put his hand down and smooshed one. The bees landed on me, walked a bit, then buzzed away. All honey combs and bees were safely removed and relocated. Call a bee keeper, they are awesome!
Any time I see a post like this I always have to add my bit.
My dad has beehives, and the bees are so chill that he can open their hives without protective gear or smoke (he does use those when he harvests honey, but not if he’s just taking a quick look). The bees are so docile that they have no fucks to give if my parents’ dog runs across their water mat where they land to drink. They just fly up and then land again.
What you want to watch out for is wasps, those fuckers need to be stopped. My parents’ dog will attack and kill wasps, but completely ignore the bees. Even he knows that bees are cool.
I don’t usually reblog things like this, but my mother and I keep bees. They’re pretty harmless unless you decide to freak out. I’ve held them in my hand, in the spring they always like to come check out my hair for some reason, and they’ll sit on me and then go about their business.
Actually, they won’t even sting you out of the blue. If they feel you’re a threat, they will headbutt you, as if to say “Move along now!” They will only sting you if you don’t follow those warnings and move away from the hive.
I love bugs, and refuse to kill them unless they’re eating me or pose a very serious danger to me, and even then I feel bad. Honey bees are sweet little ladies, and they’re very important for the survival of our ecosystems, and ourselves.
Edit: I’d also like to add, since people keep bringing up “The Bee Movie”, in reality, all the bees that work are females. The only male bees are drones, and they just make babies (and then die.. because their sex organs are weird), or eat food and then get kicked out to die when it starts getting cold. Also, only females can sting. Fun facts.
